Most Holy Trinity –
Father, son and Holy Spirit – I adore Thee profoundly.
I offer Thee the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference whereby He is offended.

The Litany of
The Blessed Virgin Mary
 

Also known as the Litany of Loreto, it is a popular prayer of supplication, once prayed in processions to atone for sins and to prevent calamities.  Pilgrims at the famous Marian Shrine in Loreto, Italy used it in the 16th century and it was approved in 1587 by Pope Sixtus V.

Although it is often prayed privately, especially after the Rosary, the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary has the distinction of being one of only six litanies approved for public recitation by the Holy See.

Its invocations to our Blessed Mother include titles given to her by the early Church Fathers in the first few centuries of Christianity. The Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary has also been set to music (as the Litany of Loreto) by such celebrated composers as Palestrina, Charpentier, and Mozart.

FATIMA VIGILS, Howwood 
We have begun our 2023 season of Vigils in honour of Our Lady of Fatima; these run from May until October on the 12th of every month. The facilities will be open from 7pm. Rosary Procession at 7.30pm,      followed by the celebration of Mass, finishing with a period of Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction.          Hall open for tea/coffee thereafter.
All welcome - come join us in honouring Our Blessed Lady and praying for peace!                     
 

The Angelus honours the Incarnation by commemorating the angel’s greeting to Mary and her free acceptance of her destined role in the salvation of mankind. It is traditionally said at 6am, noon, and 6pm.

The angel of the Lord declared unto Mary.
And she conceived of the Holy Spirit.

on the day after Pentecost.

Vatican’s Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments
 
Pope Francis has given the Virgin Mary three new titles which will be added to the Catholic Church’s traditional “Litany of Mary,” 
The new titles are:
 
“Mother of Mercy”
“Mother of Hope”
“Comfort of Migrants”
 
The titles will be added to the Litany of Mary, called the
“Litany of Loreto,” (usually recited during the rosary or on major feasts). The first new title is to be placed after “Mother of the Church,” the second after “Mother of Divine Grace,” while the third will go after Mary’s designation as “Refuge of Sinners.”
